Why Cats Clinic

Three things every kid leaves with

We're not running a daycare with a hoop in it. We're varsity players ourselves, and every drill ties back to something that actually separated us as we got older.

SKILL

Fundamentals, repeated

Ball handling, footwork, form shooting, and finishing — the same drills college players still run, scaled down and built up week over week.

SPIRIT

Compete like it matters

Scrimmages, shooting contests, and small-sided games so kids learn to compete with intensity and still shake hands after.

CHARACTER

Team over stats

Communication, encouragement, and accountability get coached just as hard as the crossover dribble.

The Program

Two groups, right-sized coaching

Boys and girls are grouped by age and experience so drills stay challenging without anyone getting buried on the bench.

Grades 3–5 · Ages 8–11

The Foundations Group

  • Dribbling with both hands under pressure
  • Form shooting and layup mechanics
  • Spacing, passing lanes, and basic sets
  • Small-sided games (3v3 / 4v4)
Grades 6–8 · Ages 11–14

The Wildcat Group

  • Advanced ball handling & change of pace
  • Mid-range and catch-and-shoot reps
  • Man-to-man defense and help rotations
  • Live 5v5 scrimmages with real officiating

Format

Every other Saturday, 90 minutes

No packages to commit to — show up to any session for $25. Every session runs the same proven structure, so new players can jump in whenever.
